If you’re new to behavioral health therapy, you may be wondering what the letters behind our names mean. They represent the credentials awarded by the master’s programs we graduated from and the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board.
All of the therapists at Pathways of Ohio Counseling Services are independently licensed and are designated as supervisors for clinicians who have not yet fulfilled the qualifications necessary to practice independently.

About Becky
Becky is the managing owner and clinical director of Pathways of Ohio Counseling Services, LLC. Her purpose in founding Pathways was to provide extraordinary and personalized out-patient behavioral health care to adults who prefer to deal with their life challenges in a private practice setting.
While she was living in the New York metropolitan area, she had the privilege of working with a world-class psychotherapist who helped her successfully deal with life and work challenges. Becky has modeled Pathways’ unique treatment approach from her own experience, including finding the right match between therapist and client.
Becky holds an Associate degree in Liberal Arts from the County College of Morris (AA), a bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) from Youngstown State University and a Master’s in Social Science Administration (MSSA) from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Before she opened Pathways of Ohio Counseling in October 2008, Becky worked as a psychotherapist in public mental health and public drug and alcohol recovery for 10 years.
Becky is a member of Give an Hour, a national nonprofit organization that certifies psychotherapists who offer free therapy services to the active military and veteran community of the Iraq and Afghanistan Conflicts.
She has been a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) since 2002 and is a member of several NASW committees that advocate for both her profession as a clinical social worker and the rights of mental and behavioral health clients.
Psychotherapy is Becky’s second career. Her first career was as a manager for AT&T, a position that allowed her to live in and spend significant amounts of time in different parts of the country. In 1999, she accepted a pre-retirement buyout from AT&T. The buyout allowed her to pursue her long-time passion to help people work through life and work stressors and mental and behavioral health issues.
She enjoys spending time with her family, her friends and her cat, Henry. She is an advocate for mental health parity, protecting the environment and animal rights.
